Music

The instrumental music program consists of seven classes. Beginning instruction is offered to third and fourth graders in violin, cello, flute, clarinet, and brass instruments-cornet and trombone. 

Students who have played for two or three years are in intermediate/advanced strings and woodwinds/brass. 
In April nine students from the intermediate/advanced classes performed in the third annual Local District Northeast Arts and Lit Fest at San Fernando High School.
